PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL OF THE FOLLOWING. Listing is for all that you see. Offered is a 1974 John Deere 110 Garden Tractor complete with a 38 mower deck, a genuine John Deere 37A single-stage snow blower (complete with brackets and bolt on pto sheave) made to be mounted on front of this tractor, a genuine John Deere vinyl tractor cover (made to custom fit this model), set of genuine John Deere tire snow chains, an extra set of blades, an extra belt and, ALL owner/instruction manuals for each piece of equipment. He gave this all to me several years ago. My grand plan was to totally restore/refurbish the blower and tractor and to completely rebuild and maybe bore out the 10 hp Kohler engine. Let me also add that this engine does not leak oil. This is from the era when John Deere and Kohler made half decent, equipment. I love mowing with this tractor and I hate to let it all go. As stated, everything does work. I have used this tractor every year to mow his lawn. That being said, I have not done the service on the engine this year yet and I would suggest that be done. The engine runs great, it idles smoothly all the way down to the lowest of rpm’s and comes up to full power smoothly. It does use a little bit of oil and will only throw a little smoke upon start up, it never smokes when running full power while under load. It has no leaks, etc. Certainly worth rebuilding or continue just using it and do the regular service and keep an eye on the oil level. The mower deck is what I consider to be the biggest problem area as it has started to rust through at the front center. The spindles and pulleys are all fine and it mows fine but, it has the rusted are starting. The blades that are on the deck now were a new set installed last year, they will need a sharpening. The extra included set are the old ones that could still be used also. The tractor itself is solid and the “issues” are only cosmetic from 42 years of use. Yes, the headlight panel is cracked (my fault). Two years ago I had the whole rear end off the tractor and replaced all the belts including the mower deck belt and deck drive belt. I would suggest perhaps install a new deck drive belt as the designed routing of the belt seems to wear it out a bit quicker. The battery that is currently installed is an Autocraft battery. I was in a pinch last year and needed a new one, so the battery only has one season on it. The original metal battery hold down bracket is included should one desire to install the much larger sized battery that the compartment was originally designed for. The wire attached to the front belt tension handle and frame was used to keep the tensioner from coming loose during use. He said it would always get loose so he used the wire to hold it. I think he just couldn’t turn the handle tight enough because I never had any problems with it. The tires on the tractor are original but have always held air fine. I have not honestly seen this blow snow myself. This thing is very heavy and a real pain to mount! He would always want it installed before winter every year even we would never let him deal with the snow due to his age. I did see the blower work while on the tractor but, I never observed it blowing snow. It has not been mounted on the tractor for 5 years. It has been stored covered in a garage. Having just moved it and inspecting it, I can tell you I see no reason why it wouldn’t work. Everything turns freely and quietly with no binding, etc. I would suggest installing a new power belt for it should one want to use it. Not much else to say, the cover was just recently found in the rafters of the garage (never knew he had it and obviously he had forgotten about it). It has no holes, rips or tears, etc. It is still soft and pliable and it just needs a good cleaning. MAKE SURE YOU ABSOLUTELY UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING. I welcome and encourage anyone interested to contact me and come see and inspect this all for yourself. I will do my best to accommodate your schedule. I will make this very simple for those interested in this offering. That being said, the choice is still yours however. I have a bare minimum that I want to clear (and that price is quite fair) on these items and that is how the pricing will break down via each method in order to come to that amount. There will be NO NEGOTIATING or changes made to these prices again, like it or don’t like it, take it or leave it, those are the prices and that’s how it is going to be. Obviously paying all cash is your best option. As stated, all manuals (and some other receipts) are included for each piece of equipment offered. I certainly encourage you shop around and compare prices being asked for a similar tractor, etc. Comparing all that you will be getting. I have this fairly priced and as stated, price is firm. Last picture is an old picture of him using unit in the snow. Tractor, blower and, deck have always been kept in the garage and were never stored/kept outdoors. Again, here is the pricing breakdown for whichever method you choose.
