Honda snowblower auger shear bolts & locking nuts. I don’t know why but these bolts & nuts are very hard to find, search the net, honda dealers, whatever, they are near impossible to find. I have the correct bolts & nuts for models hs1132, hs928, hs828, hs724, hs624. These bolts fit through the plastic block on the auger blade, there is (1) on each side for a total of (2) for each snowblower. These are not the auger. Shaft or 2nd stage shaft bolts. The bolts are the lowest shear strenght available. Nuts are flanged & locking type. Don’t ever use a non locking or non flanged nut. The flanged nut sits on the auger, the bolt head fits in the plastic block. They only fit this one way. 11 nuts and 11 bolts 22 pieces total. No bags, no boxes, these are very expensive from honda. I’m sure these bolts will get even harder to find after each snow. You will be irrate when you don’t have these bolts after you suck up a newspaper in your driveway after the next snow. Don’t shovel with a honda snowblower sitting in your garage with broken shear bolts. Honda hs624 hydrostatic track-drive snowblower. Truly works like new. Honda engine, starter cord pulls easy and starts first or second pull. Hydrostatic transmission adjusts from full-speed forward to full-speed reverse, and any speed in-between by just moving the handle. Go from forward motion to reverse without stopping, just pull the handle back – great for areas where you can’t turn around. Creep up beside cars or other obstacles with ease. Track gives incredible traction in any conditions. Pedal in back adjusts from transport mode (auger up) to normal (auger resting on surface), to ice-cutting mode (auger angled down and weight shifted forward, for cutting into hard-packed snow). Powerful halogen lamp lights your way at night. Remote chute controls, drive speed control and throttle control on dash. Owner’s manual and extra shear pins included. Just replaced $190 worth of wear-out parts, including: spark plug, both belts, idler pulley, blower bearing, auger bearings, scraper bar and skid shoes. Parts for this machine are readily available online or at a local dealer at reasonable prices, though you shouldn’t need to replace anything for many years, except maybe the spark plug.
