This offer is for a good used Ariens 32″ snow attachment assembly only – NO engine or power unit is included – this offer is for the front 32″ attachment only- the picture shown of the assembly is for the purpose of application/ fitment confirmation ONLY. This offer is for a complete Ariens 32 snow attachment to fit a 60′s / 70′s-ish older unit. This attachment will fit the older orange/ white color models that came with a 24 scoop originally and usually had a Tecumseh 5, 6, 7hp engine. This attachment will fit all of the older units that have a single belt only – which powers the wheels and the front end at the same time – the front end gets it’s power through the cast iron drive jaws (picture shown). If your unit does not have the drive jaws then you will not be able to use this attachment on your power head. The attachment is in very good shape for it’s age (45 years +/-) – the skid shoes and scraper edge are 70% condition, the auger tines are free on the cross shaft so that shear bolts can break as they are supposed to (after a while the rake tines seize on the shaft from lack of greasing) , and the chute rotation gear is not broken/cracked and has not been played with. The gear box has very little freeplay , and no excess lash, and it holds gear oil as it should. The scoop housing is all original paint w/ some dark red paint dripped on the right side outer panel for reasons unknown, and the bottom left edge of the scoop housing has a broken weld (picture shown) which we will mig weld if you want us to – the only side effect will be burned paint from the weld process, and I prefer to let buyers see things as they really are – if you want to fix it we’ll leave it for you to do. The chute crank handle assy is also included. We’re a 4th generation Ariens dealer with lot’s of experience , and there aren’t many things we can answer. Is this something you need?
