MTD Snowblower, 10 HP Tecumseh engine, 24 clearing width
I have changed the oil every year before the first start-up of the season (including this year). It has an electric start (110 volt). The engine is a Tecumseh 10 horsepower, which for the 24 clearing width is more than you need (most of them are either 5 or 8 hp). All controls work as they should. This snowblower has 5 forward and 2 reverse speeds. Unit has newer cables for both the auger control and the drive control (replaced within the last 2 years). The gear box for the auger was replaced in 2013 (the original cracked, it was hit by a rock or ice chunk). I have extra skid shoes and shear pins and they will be included with the snowblower. I do think it needs a new drive belt. If you have questions, please ask! I will respond ASAP, but please be patient!
