For sale is my 1971 Ariens Sno-Thro 10000 series 32 wide snowblower. (Second photo, showing inside the front of the bucket, does have a little snow inside of their, when photo was taken, that is the white you see in their). This is the first generation of the wider Snowblowers made by Ariens and is the second year they were built. The 32 wide 10000 series is well known as one of the best snowblowers ever built by Ariens. It is superior to any modern snowblower in so many ways and was built so much stronger and is 100%. Made, from the Tires, the engine, Tecumseh and the chassis all 100% solid American made. Whoever buys this machine will be one very lucky person, the machine still looks practically new, yet its 47 years old, removes snow amazing and is priced very well. 2,601.51 today and yet it is still cheaper than some of Ariens higher end machines now, yet this machine is a lot better than any Ariens machine built today. This is a one owner machine. It comes with its original manuals. The machine was lightly used throughout its 47 years, as we had a snow removal contractor do our snow removal for many years. This machine was always. Maintained by my father and than by me. This machine is super clean and in excellent condition. The machine got very light use over its 47 year life and is why it is so clean. As you can see the inside of the chute and bucket still have its majority of original paint, a clear indication that this machine had very light use. This machine is all original and has all of its original part’s, original skid shoe’s, chute guard, spring loaded primer, nameplate, etc. It has its original 1971 Tecumseh 7 horsepower H70 engine. The engine starts nice and easy and runs strong and smooth and does not smoke or have any other issues. This is the rarer 32 wide 10000 series sno-thro with its original slightly larger tires than the 24 wide has. It is a Trac Team unit and has the. Differential, meaning it takes all of the Trac Team attachment’s, another very unique feature to these early Ariens snowblowers. This machine was built solid, the thickness of steel on this machine is nearly 4x thicker than machine’s built today, it has large, strong front cast iron gear case, tall flight ribbon welded steel augers, that were built to really break up heavy snow. These machines were built very well and very strong and are made to last a very, very long time, when taken care of and as you can see by the condition of this machine, it will easily last your lifetime. This machine needs nothing, it is ready to go, start and throw that snow! Throw a pair of snow chains on the tires and you are set, you will have the best snowblower around and one of Ariens best snowblowers ever built, with chains on, this machine has great traction, better than any machine without tire chains.
