Here’s a good Toro 824 Snow Blower Power Shift 8HP 24 Cut. I believe this blower to be a 1997 model. It had several issues with the original engine. I replaced it with a good 8 HP, from another Toro. This blower is very clean, as used blowers go. Note the minimal rust and paint issues. Carb is a no adjustable type. So the idle fluctuates, normal for many of these motors. Carburetor has been cleaned, gas tank flushed and fuel lines checked. This blower has electric start and a new cord for the pull start. It has a new spark plug and a fresh oil change. It moves out in 4 forward speeds and 2 reverse. The power shift option changes the wheel position, either forward or back. Forward makes for easy transport/moving around when not running and is the position for lighter snow. Moving the wheels back put more weight on the front end for heavier snow amounts. Here’s a good Vintage Simplicity Snow-Away 870 Snow Blower. This one is a 1994. It’s an8 HP engine and a 28 cut. This machine has electric start and pull starts easily and has a working light. It has 5 forward and 2 reverse gears. It has a new plug and fresh oil change. Very clean for the age. Runs good engages in all ranges and will blow snow. You’ll note some dings and tweaks in the shoot. Something fell on it and it was crunched. Straightened out enough to work fine. Otherwise very solid and minimal rust. Here’s a real nice Bolens Snow Blower 8HP 26 Cut Electric Start. This machine was acquired in need of repairs to the wheel drive. For reasons unknown, some parts were missing. Parts were replaced with “good used” from another machine and it’s fine. This blower is a 1999 model. They are built by the same company as Troy Bilt. Well built, quality machines. One picture shows wiring under the controls. This blower has heated handles. In addition to the drive parts, the carburetor has been cleaned, fuel lines replaced, belts checked (1 replaced). It comes with a new spark plug and a fresh oil change. This machine in as clean as you’ll find, very little rust. Obviously garaged and cared for. It pull starts easily. Tecumseh engine runs strong. It move out in 5 forward and 2 reverse gears. The bottom cover is missing from the tractor. I’ll be addressing that this week. Not a big issue. Shouldn’t last long. Here’s a good Craftsman Snow Blower 9HP 29 Cut Electric Start. This blower came to me in need of some minor repairs. Specifically the recoil and some fuel issues. The recoil has been replaced. It has new fuel lines and a new carburetor and added a fuel shut off. It comes with a fresh oil change and a new spark plug. This blower runs good, moves out in 6 forward and 2 reverse speeds. It has some obvious rust, but is solid. Date code indicates it’s a 2001 model. One tire loses air. I will check it but no guarantees on that. Seems to be the norm on many of these machines. Here’s a real good 1999 Craftsman Snow Blower EZ Steer Track Drive 9HP 28 Cut. Here’s a real good Craftsman EZ Steer Track Drive, 9HP 28 Cut. If this can’t clear your drive way, you likely need a plow. Starts on one pull. It has electric start, works fine. Track drive engages in all 6 forward and 2 reverse ranges. Blower engages as it should. Has a light, also in working order. This unit has a lever adjustment for the shoot angle. The EZ steer feature is a trigger bake that stops the right side track and lets the left side turn the machine. Belts are fine as is the rubber drive wheel for the wheels. All is adjusted and ready to go for the coming winter. Comes with a fresh oil change and a new spark plug. Model number is worn off the label. I believe it’s 247.88790. Engine date code is 1999.
