Here’s a good Toro 824 Snow Blower Power Shift 8HP 24 Cut. I believe this blower to be a 1997 model. It had several issues with the original engine. I replaced it with a good 8 HP, from another Toro. This blower is very clean, as used blowers go. Note the minimal rust and paint issues. Carb is a no adjustable type. So the idle fluctuates, normal for many of these motors. Carburetor has been cleaned, gas tank flushed and fuel lines checked. This blower has electric start and a new cord for the pull start. It has a new spark plug and a fresh oil change. It moves out in 4 forward speeds and 2 reverse. The power shift option changes the wheel position, either forward or back. Forward makes for easy transport/moving around when not running and is the position for lighter snow. Moving the wheels back put more weight on the front end for heavier snow amounts.
