I removed the handle somewhat forceably so the original screws that held the handle will no longer work because the holes are a bit bigger and will each need a washer on one side. I cannot guarantee if the unit works because I do not have batteries to test.. I would think there is no reason it should not work because the snowblower looks brand new other than the damaged handle assembly.. All wires are still connected. DUE TO WEIGHT OF NEARLY 200 POUNDS..
