Honda HS35 Auger-Style Snow Blower Thrower with4-Stroke 3.5 HP GS150 Engine, Runs
Snow blower/thrower with a 21 width clearing path. This has a Honda 3.5 Horsepower 4-stroke G150 engine, which is strong for it’s size and like a “regular” engine, it has a separate oil reservoir (you do not have to mix gas with oil in the fuel mixture/gas can). For it’s time this snow blower was considered lightweight and I’ve found it easy to use & maneuver. I personally own this one and it was gently & infrequently used and has been very reliable. Typically it will always start within 2 to 3 pulls after sitting from one winter to the next or even for multiple winters. This does not affect starting it but in order to turn off the engine, I’ve been able to do so by making contact between the two metal points on that part with a piece of metal and/or a screwdriver. The other issue is that the choke control knob does not seem to be working and the choke is stuck in the closed position. Again, this does not affect starting, but once warmed up the engine looses power and bogs down when plowing. I’m fairly certain that it is a cable or spring that needs to be replaced. Even with these minor mechanical issues, this is still a Honda snow thrower that will be very reliable for many more years or even decades. I would repair it myself if I had the time or inclination but unfortunately I don’t have either, so it’s time that it move on to another owner. It comes with the owners manual printout as pictured.
