Snowblower 12V Electric Chute Control
Snowblower 12V Electric Rotary Chute Control. This kit replaces the hand crank on many OEM snowblowers manufactured by RadTech in Canada for manufacturers including Walker mowers, Kubota and similar. The kit includes a heavy duty rotary worm drive actuator. All CNC machined mounting brackets, heat treated drive adapter, and all required stainless hardware(no welding). A reversing polarity switch is also included along with installation instructions. The actuator provides about an 8 second 180 degree rotation time and has plenty of torque. A high torque actuator can also be specified by message at no additional cost but has a 15 second rotation time. Machined components are furnished uncoated and need to be painted or otherwise coated. I can paint them a basic gloss black upon request. As mentioned a reversing polarity switch is included and needs to be mounted in a convenient location. Then power needs to be run to via 14-16ga wire(not included) to either the machines circuit breaker or a 5A fuse and holder(not included) directly to the battery. Installation is about 1 hour or less generally. Fits Walker H12 & H17 blowers and many others by Kubota and similar. Check the attached picture with the 6.75 inch bolt spacing and measure your blower. This kit is designed around this common size. Also check the chute screw tube diameter, it should nominally measure. 75 for this kit. If you have a RadTech or similar blower and this kit wont quite fit, let me know and we can work together to make parts to order that will fit.
