11hp Craftsman 30″ Snowblower – Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

This is a sears 30in with the 11 hp tecumseh engine with cast iron cylinder sleeve. It’s had good care as the pictures indicate, and it starts with the manual start very easily.

The left side panel of the auger housing popped loose and needs a tack weld or an “l” bracket and bolt – 2. The auger swivel rod evidently lost the nut at the end and the owner replaced it with a copper fitting.

It works fine, but looks funny. The electric start is not working and i don’t have time to play with it – might be the little motor is shot or maybe just wiring problem. However, it starts with the manual pull cord with little effort. I took this on trade for some work, but i already have a smaller one that i’m happy with. Anyone wishing to inspect it, just drop me a line and we’ll set up a time/date. Oil looks good, started on first pull, don’t know how many years old it is, but it sounds fine when running and appears to have been housed dry and well cared for. If you know small engines and motorized equipment, you’ll know more about it than i do! This is an 11 hp with 30 inch maw, and it ain’t light! I can provide some board ramps to get it up into your vehicle from my carport. The “auger” swivel rod i referred to should read the “discharge chute” swivel rod.
